Another issue with the SSD tech is that it still has a long way to go. For all its excellent performance, it’s not 100% reliable, so there is still a risk that your website will crash. Like all new tech, SSD has its ups and downs as it’s tested by time and use. It does improve rapidly, but mishaps aren’t uncommon.
Are SSD Servers Worth the Investment?
If your business strives on data management and processing efficiency, investing in SSD will be wise. It’s a big struggle for many, but using this tech will pay off reasonably fast.
However, if having the best possible performance isn’t the main thing for you, HDD servers will be a good and definitely more affordable option.
