Recording Audio Streams with the Movavi Screen Capture Studio

Nowadays there are many ways to listen to music online, streaming and audio is undoubtedly one of the most widely used. With countless internet radios and other audio streams that you can tune in to, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to listening to your favorite style of music, discovering new artists, or even listening to playlists curated by others.

Screen Capture Studio

The only problem with listening to music on audio streams is that if you come across a song you like and want to listen to again – you won’t be able to. Generally audio streams don’t have an easy way for you to ‘save’ any songs and listen to them offline – which can be a bit of a bummer at times. The way to avoid this problem is to use the Movavi Screen Capture Studio so that you can record audio streams whenever you need.

Despite being a screen capture software, the Movavi Screen Capture Studio is more than able to record streaming audio. To get started, just:

  1. Select ‘Record Audio’ from the launch window.
  2. Set the ‘Audio capture device’ to ‘Speakers’ to record streaming audio as it would normally play on your speakers.
  3. Check the other settings and set the ‘Destination’ folder.
  4. Click ‘Start Capture’ to begin recording and play the audio stream at the same time.
  5. Click ‘Stop Capture’ when you’re done and the software will automatically save the audio stream you recorded to the folder specified.

That’s all that is required to record audio streams, and if you want to use the Movavi Screen Capture Studio to record or edit videos you’ll find that it is just as easy. In fact, you’ll be able to create professional-looking videos with ease using the numerous features present in the software – some of which will allow you to cut and combine video segments, enhance the video quality, insert customizable text, apply special effects and filters, and even add audio tracks.

Some of these features may even help you to improve the audio streams that you record. In particular, you could use the Movavi Screen Capture Studio’s features to cut out any unnecessary bits that were inadvertently recorded, or even merge several songs together into a playlist. It won’t take you long to figure out how to do just that and more using the software’s easy-to-use features.
